Wow it has been along time since I have updated this blog. Sorry, facebook has become an addiction of sorts. A lot has happened since May, Kelsey has graduated from high school, boy does that make me feel old. I can still remember when my parent came home with her. So small, So cute, then she grow-up. No she is a good girl, I couldn't ask for a better sister.
MY TWO ANGELS
Seth and Sammi started a new school year. Sammi is in the 5th grade and Seth the 3rd. Time goes by so quick before you know it they have grown so big you wish for the baby stage back.
This sweet Angel is my nephew Camden Joshua Walker. Born September 10, 2009 @ 11:18. He weighted around 6 pound and was around 20 inches long. Congratulations to the proud Parents. I spent the weekend in Louisiana to visit with the new addition to Jett and Shauna's household. I didn't get many picture due to the sweet big brother Colton. Colton enjoyed taking pictures with my camera. He would point the camera at someone and say smile, and get a picture of the floor, wall, ceiling etc. At one point he said smile Papa, smile Roy, smile Daddy and then turned to the TV and said Smile Cars, we were watching a nascar race. I enjoyed my time with them and am so sad that it had to be such a short visit and that we live so far away, I miss so much of Coltons growing up year. Love you guy so much.
Here is Colton the Camera snatcher. He didn't want picture taken of him he wanted to take the pictures.

Whats New!
Hey everyone, The last few weeks have been very long!!!!. The economy problems are being felt by the Myers household. Sam was cut back in January form 55hrs to 40hrs. So the last few weeks I have worked around 20hr more than my normal 21hrs a week. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. Starting Tuesday I will again be home with my Angels (devils) in the afternoon. Kelsey will be working my classroom in the afternoons. (She wants a new car, Don't know whats wrong with the old one :) :) Oh forgot it's in the shop). Sammi has started the second half of the kickball season. Going better than the first we have played 4 games so far in the second half and have won 3 out of the 4. Can't wait till May 29, Jett, Shauna and Colton will be in Corpus for my baby sister to graduate from High School, and be able to see one of Sammi's Games. Hope everyone is doing good. Sending hugs and kiss to all. We love you and can't wait to see everyone really soon.

Go Marlins!!!!!!
Marlins 13-Dolphins 12
What a game. Sammi is on the Marlins this year. She was on the Dolphins last year. She didn't really enjoy playing last year because it was not a very competitive team. First two inning 12 Dolphins 1 Marlins. Oh, did Sammi get discouraged. She got out on third base. Went in to tears. Mad at the ref. Thank goodness she was a sub last night and ended up setting on the bench the 4Th inning till end of game. But once we stopped our "I'M NEVER ON A WINNING TEAM" BOO WHO WHOOOing!!! and, Mom, Dad, Papa Walker gave her the suck it up Talk, It got a little better are God just graced us with super powers. We came back in the last inning and a half tied the game and beat the dolphins by one point. GO Marlins. Thought dad was going to have a heart attack. We were all jumping, screaming, dad is running up and down the front of the stands. Then I see him behind me by the dugout and he is holding his chest. I thought oh no here we go, to much excited. This was just what our Marlin Girls needed. We have won 2 and lost 4. GO MARLINS!!!

All about Dad
Dad is going home sometime today. His heart rate is still not consistent to what the doctors would like. They are giving him blood thinner shots two times a day. And another medication for the heart rate. So just keep praying that everything will work out. Love you all.

All is Good!
Dad went in for his procedure around 8:30 this morning. Everything went good. They found no blood clots and Shocked his heart two times. His heart is at 90%. Still not what the doctors would like to see it at or what they consider normal. So they are giving him a series of 3 shots. If this doesnt make his heart beat normally they will keep him on a blood thinner with weekly lab tests for around three weeks, and then try to reshock his heart again. So pray that the shots will work and that he will beable to go home by Wednesday. He is ready to go home, if you could see him you wouldn't even think anything was wrong.
Love you all.

My Papa
Prayers lots of Prayers.
My father is the best father a person could ever have. On Friday he wasn't feeling well. His heart rate was high. He went to the doctor and the doctor send him to the ER. The ER admitted him On Friday at Doctors Regional at around 3pm. They say he is suffering form A fib.(arterial fibrillation). Since being in the hospital his heart rate has improved but is still considered irregular. They will be doing an procedure some time tomorrow that should correct this. They will be sedating him mildly and placing a scope down his throat to see what is going on with his heart. If they find no blood clots on the lower part of the heart they will then shock his heart in hope that it will start beating normally. If it doesn't work he will then be placed on medication to control it. So you no me, Miss see plenty of doctors, ask the question "if" their is a chance of it not working, maybe even making it worse, or death why do it. Well, they say if the sock treatment does not work it will mean a higher chance of heart problems later. So tomorrow my father, the best father in the world, will be having a procedure done that may work, may not work or at the worst we could lose him all together. That last result is something that we would have a hard time with. So we will put it in GOD'S hands and pray for it to work. SO, everyone please pray for my father today, tonight, tomorrow that the Lord will have his hands on him and keep him save and make him better.

Last livestock show for 2009!!!!
Last weekend, Samantha, Kelsey, and Staci loaded up their piggies and went to Mercedes, Texas for the last livestock show for 2009 (for Staci and Sammi), this was Kelsey's last show since she will graduate in May (If that doesn't make me feel old).
Samantha for the last time in the ring with Ginger!! Sammi Received 1st place for Ginger in her group. Ginger is a Duroc and their were 7 group of Duroc's showing, group by weight. Ginger weighed 374lb!!!!!!!!! She was in the heaviest class of Duroc's.
Kelsey and Sammi in the ring together!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the only time they ever were showing at the same time. Kelsey had Strawberry, CC, and Champ at the show. Three piggies. Strawberry and CC ended up in the same weight classes and had to show in the same group, The 7 group of white crosses. So Sammi showed Strawberry for Kelsey while Kelsey showed CC. Before they show we tried to explain to Sammi that any ribbon belong to Kelsey because it is her pig. And that if Strawberry received 1st, Kelsey would then switch pigs with Sammi. Sammi said no way!!. But that didn't happen. CC placed 2nd and Strawberry 3rd.
Kelsey also Showed Champ which I belief was a hamp. Champ placed 2nd in his group.
in the 7 group showing. Champ weighed in at 381lb.
Staci showed Adie, Add is a york. Add was also in the 7 group of York's to show. I believe Adie placed 3nd
We had a lot of fun and meet some handsome outlaw's and their side kicks.

I am so bad, It has been almost two months and I haven't updated this blog. So sorry, We have all been doing very well. Livestock show was in January, a few weeks before the show ginger, Samantha's pig started to limp. Made it to the show and she received 7th in here group. Judge said if her (ginger's) back wheels would have been working better she problem would have moved up 4 or 5 places. Sam just got back from Daytona with my father and brother and uncle buddy. They had a blast.
We would like to wish Jett and Roy happy birthdays.
Love ya all
